In a dystopian world, a young man seeking peace by fishing in a lake tries to move beyond "the shadow" on his journey to find himself. This journey is not only an escape but also a test in which he questions the meaning of existence, freedom and the courage to face his own truth.
Director — Muhammet Ali Deniz & Ramazan Arslan
Ramazan Arslan (b. 1996, Antalya) is pursuing a master's degree in Radio, Television and Cinema at Sivas Cumhuriyet University; his shorts and documentaries have received awards and selections at national and international festivals. Muhammet Ali Deniz began his career in theatre in 2013 and graduated from the same department; he has appeared in series on TRT 1, Show TV and Now TV, and the shorts he writes and directs have been finalists at festivals including Adana Golden Boll.
