
Sema wants to help her husband Murat, who is in prison, but his request goes against the procedures. She feels torn between the strict prison system and her own emotions.
Murat, who has just entered prison, has a need he cannot meet because of various procedures, and he asks his wife for help. Unsure what to do, Sema arrives at the prison with her baby on a crowded visiting day, forced to consider unlawful ways of helping her husband — while strict security measures await her inside. Rabia Özmen was born in Istanbul in 1998. After graduating from the Faculty of Communication at Marmara University, she gained several years of on-set experience in various productions before stepping into directing. She has directed documentaries and television programmes, mainly focusing on social observation and human stories. In 2023 she directed the documentary "I Was There" in Bosnia. Her first short fiction film, Procedure, had its world premiere at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival and its Turkish premiere at the 32nd Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. Özmen also continues to work as a creative director at a production agency.
